What You’ll Learn

FBM refers to Fulfilled By Merchant. You can either Self Ship or Easy Ship all your Amazon Orders this way. If you are selling through FBM, you are responsible for handling and processing your orders. You need to pick, pack and label them yourself though the delivery can be made either through Amazon’s Easy Ship option or through your preferred courier partner.

If you are selling through FBM, you will be responsible for handling and processing your orders, which means, you need to pick, pack and label the orders yourselves, though the delivery can be made either through Amazon’s Easy Ship option or through Self Ship (using your preferred courier partner).

Benefits of Selling on Amazon through Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM):

– You can Start with a Low Budget

– You have complete control over your order processing activities; you can handle the order pickup, packing and labelling activities all by yourselves or your team.

– You are not required to retain funds to pay for storage in Amazon’s warehouse.

– All you have to pay for an order through Amazon will be Amazon’s commission, GST tax rate, Delivery charges and advertisement charges (if any).

-You can either Self Ship your order through your preferred courier partner or arrange for Amazon Easy Ship if your Pincode is serviceable (which is possible in most cases).
